A first trailer for the series titled Wednesday (wednesday) was revealed. We meet Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega), a student at Nevermore Academy, who must use her psychic powers to thwart a series of murders. Catherine Zeta-Jones will play Morticia, while Luis Guzmán will play the father, Gomez Addams. Isaac Ordonez will be Pugsley, Wednesday’s brother.

Tim Burton (to whom we owe the films beetle juice and Edward Scissorhands) will direct all eight one-hour episodes. The screenplay is co-written by Al Gough and Miles Millar.
