Finau erased a five-stroke deficit with 11 holes to play on the TPC Twin Cities course and won the tournament by three strokes, thanks to a cumulative score of minus 17.

Piercy had set a tournament record for the highest cumulative score after 54 holes, but he shot 76 to slip into a tie for fourth at 13 under.

Sungjae Im (68) and Emiliano Grillo (71) shared the second rung. James Hahn had the best round of the day (65) and powered into a tie with Piercy and Tom Hoge (70).

Piercy had just committed four bogeys in six holes before scoring a disastrous triple bogey on the 14the pennant. Finau, who was playing in the previous group, took the opportunity to take the lead for good and claim a third career PGA Tour title.

Finau solidified his lead with a long birdie on 15e hole. He added one to the 16e pennant before committing a bogey that no longer had an impact, at 18e hole.

Piercy had shared the lead with Im after the first round, but he built a three-stroke lead heading into the weekend with a 64 in the second round.

Canadian Michael Gligic completed the course in 69 strokes and finished the event tied for 16e rank, at minus 7. His compatriots Roger Sloan (72) and Adam Hadwin (67) both took 38e rung.
