French actor Omar Sy has not finished turning heads in Hollywood.

The one who held the title role in the series Lupine will be the star of remake from the movie The Killera hugely successful action feature film when it was released in 1989.
The original film, written and directed by Hong Kong filmmaker John Woo, told the story of a hitman who accidentally injures a singer while on a mission. In order to finance the operation of this young woman whom he has almost made blind, the killer accepts one last contract. However, he will soon be caught up in his past. 33 years ago, actor Chow Yun-fat played the main character.
Universal has announced that Omar Sy will take over this role. The main interested party indicated on his Instagram account: “A new challenge… And what a challenge, but so grateful to have this opportunity! »
John Woo will find the cameras to direct the proofreading of his film himself. For the moment, no information on the scenario (written by Matthew Stuecken and Josh Campbell) or even on the release date of this remake has not been disclosed.
We know, however, that the film will not be broadcast on the big screen, but on the Peacock platform from Universal Studios.
