A European Odyssey that passes through Athens. Winner of AEK two weeks ago at the Vélodrome (3-1), OM meets the Greeks for the 4th day of the Europa League, Thursday November 9. After two draws and a victory, the Marseille club is leader of group B at mid-term, and intends to consolidate its position on the lawn of the Athenians, second. For this, Gennaro Gattuso’s men will however have to show a different face than that of the last few days, and in particular last Saturday against Lille (0-0).
On the pitch of AEK, a club friendly to some of the Marseille ultras, there will be no room for gifts, while the OM season is slow to start in the championship. The Olympians will not be able to count on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is missing this trip.
