Since the elimination of Paris-Saint-Germain in the Champions League on March 9, the Collectif Ultras Paris, one of the main groups of supporters of the capital club, has decided to start a chanting strike. This boycott will be maintained during the shock against Olympique de Marseille this Sunday evening, announces Romain Mabille, the president of the CUP, to France Bleu Paris.
“We will be in the stands, but there will be nothing new. We remain on the same attitude as the previous matches for the simple reason that nothing has changed since our demands”, explained Romain Mabille in an exclusive interview with France Bleu Paris. The leader of the Parisian ultras regrets that the management has not communicated on the subject or started a dialogue. “We don’t feel the club’s desire to move things forward”he regretted.
“We remain convinced of the validity of our claims, what we are asking for is only the best for the club”

The president of the CUP made a point of recalling his demands, while the collective has been asking for several weeks for a discussion with the club on the sporting situation and the future of Paris Saint-Germain.
Romain Mabille explains that he sent a letter to the president of the club to renew the dialogue and “find solutions” before Sunday night’s game. He acknowledges that the position of Collectif Ultras Paris is difficult for some to understand, but “it proves that the well-being of our club matters more than this kind of meeting”according to him. “We prefer to punish ourselves for the good of the club and hope that things will change, than to go into the stadium and pretend that nothing is wrong just because it’s Marseille”concludes Romain Mabille.
