Duel between two sick teams in Ligue 1. Strasbourg hosts Marseille, Saturday November 25 at Meinau, for the 13th day. If OM are at the top of their group in the Europa League, the situation is much more complicated in the league for the Phocaeans, who have won only one of their last eight matches (3 draws, 4 defeats). A record perfectly similar to that of the Alsatians, who have not tasted success since September 24, in Metz, and who flirt dangerously with the red zone. Patrick Vieira’s team will not be reassured by looking at the history between the two teams, since Strasbourg has not won against OM at home since 2005.

In order not to fall too far behind in European places, OM is obliged to establish itself in Alsace. “This match is very important, but we prepared well for it. We must reverse the trend and succeed with character”, insisted Gennaro Gattuso at a press conference. The Italian coach’s team, which has a match in hand against bottom side Lyon, must cope without Valentin Rongier, who has a knee injury. Samuel Gigot is suspended. Follow the match live.
