L’acting acting, it’s a family affair. On Friday, November 4, 2022, Amazon Prime subscribers discover the film Overdose, new project by Olivier Marchal in which we find his youngest daughter Zoé, 24 years old. In this new thriller, the young woman plays a policewoman, which is reminiscent of the past of her father, who became a policeman in the 1980s before converting to the cinema. This is not the first time, however, that we see it on the screen. She had already seduced the public in several French series, including Disappeared, Section Zero Where time is killer.
Acting is nothing new for Zoé Marshall, who was already doing extras at the age of 5. If her father pushed her to continue her studies, the sirens of the film sets ended up getting the better of her. “I had already directed itrecalls the director in the columns of the magazine Paris Match. Then I observed what she was capable of in films other than mine. I know that it is always very frowned upon, in this vengeful world, to make your family work. I happened to advise her to register as Zoé M. at the castings she went to. And say her name when she was taken.”

She signs her participation in the film with her real name Overdose. It is impossible not to thank his parents, who passed on this passion to him, each in their own way. Catherine Marchal – Here it all starts – pushed Zoé to love the theatre, Olivier Marchal gave her a taste for writing and directing. If she drew a lot from them to build herself as an adult, dad and mom also found a new meaning in welcoming in 1998.
