Olivier Lejeune is overflowing with projects!

At the same time humorist, songwriter, actor, host, author, director… Olivier Lejeune is overflowing with projects:

  • A one man show on tour all over France “And it’s so true!”

On the scene, Olivier Lejeune says aloud what everyone thinks quietly. He scratches where it hurts the most by shooting his arrows at anything that moves: politicians, showbiz stars, social facts… in short, everything the media talk about! He plays with the fundamental symbols of our society to better divert them like a genius publicist, an impetuous provocateur of laughter, a perpetual craftsman of farce. The author plays with conventions, dogmas, “petty bourgeois” habits and attacks with ferocity and inventiveness all that is sacred in our world.

  • A new play by Guitry “60 days in prison” directed by Nicolas Boukhrief from March 31 in Paris

While the fighting was still raging for the liberation of Paris, the great Sacha Guitry was apprehended at his home by five armed men who took him away with them without any explanation, and without even giving him time to replace his mules and pajamas with a more decent outfit. On the strength of rumors alone, he is suspected of the crime of collaborating with the German occupier and will be brutally imprisoned for 60 days in unsanitary jails and prison camps, without ever knowing the real reason for his arrest. Miraculously, Guitry had the intuition to write down, day after day, the story of this unjust prison experience. From the few days preceding his arrest to the morning of his deliverance, he narrates with his natural elegance and irony these historical facts where small and big History mingle to give us an unprecedented picture of the Liberation.

Fourteen July 1789, at the Palace of Versailles. And to start the day an explosive cocktail. A feminist queen who wants a divorce, an erudite servant, a licking and spineless adviser, a whimsical muse of Marseille’s sans culottes… And of course, the King, overwhelmed by events. Plus a few drops of news between the yellow vests, Twitter, BFM and the fires of love. On tour everywhere in France!
