The MTV VMAs 2023 took place this Wednesday, September 13 in New Jersey, hosted by the singer Nicki Minaj. Indeed, Olivia Rodrigo, rewarded for her title Vampire in the Best Editing category, had to be rushed off stage by security, in the middle of a show. While she was singing her song in front of thousands of spectators, the singer, just 20 years old, was surprised by free throws of fireworks, which she did not seem to have premeditated… After several impacts which left her brushed, the young woman was finally taken off the set by a member of security, after several spots and the red curtain fell.

Everything was wrong!
On videos broadcast on social networks, and captured by the broadcaster MTV, we can see the frightened face of the singer during her performance, but also those of the star spectators, like Selena Gomez, visibly very worried for her colleague . In reality, all this was just an illusion, imagined in advance by the 20-year-old singer. To promote the release of her new album and her opus Vampire, the young woman imagined a terrifying show… and it worked!
