In Berlin (Germany), Thursday October 10, the parliamentary session began with a minute of silence in tribute to the victims killed since the Hamas attack on Israel. Olaf Scholz reiterated his unwavering support for the Jewish state. “We have not decided to stop our arms deliveries. We will continue to do so”announced the German Chancellor.
In Spain, the mental health of workers is deteriorating. More than 500,000 people suffer from anxiety, lack of sleep and depression. Overwork affects almost half of employees. For precarious workers, one in three depressions could be avoided thanks to stable employment.
In Latvia, a drug laboratory has been dismantled. It is the largest clandestine manufacturing site ever discovered in this country. More than a ton of synthetic drugs were seized worth 400 million euros. The drug was to supply the European market and Russia.
