OL snatch victory in Montpellier with a double from Griedge Mbock

The Olympique Lyonnais players suffered on Saturday in Montpellier (3-2), but a double from Griedge Mbock allowed the Fenottes to win and maintain their lead in the women’s D1 ahead of Paris SG.

The Lyonnaises led twice, thanks to goals from Griedge Mbock (5th) and Eugénie Le Sommer (42nd), but they were joined by goals from the German Lena Petermann (18th, 44th from the penalty spot). Mbock finally snatched victory in the 89th minute, on the lookout for a ball released by the Hérault goalkeeper.

At the top of the Championship, OL are six points ahead of their runners-up PSG, traveling on Sunday (2:45 p.m.) to Saint-Etienne and who still have a late game to play.
