The Oktoberfest season is not over yet! Building on the success of last year’s event at the Atwater market, we are back this year by adding a second weekend of activities at the Jean-Talon market.
Around fifteen brewers will set up their stalls in Atwater on September 30 and 1er October, then on the side of Jean-Talon on October 8.
Some are well known to beer enthusiasts like Messorem, Benelux, La Souche, Trou du Diable, Bob Magnale and Overhop, but there are also some local or emerging breweries like Trois Lacs, Terre à verre, Memento, Brasseur Noir and Les Sans-Taverne.
Access to markets is obviously free; it involves purchasing a tasting glass for $3.50 and then having it refilled at a cost of $4 for 5 oz and $7 for 10 oz.
At the Atwater market, the event takes on a joyful family twist with inflatable games, face painting and creative workshops, while tasting and food-beer pairing workshops are offered at the Jean-Talon market.
