Two motorcyclists are in critical condition after a collision in Oka, on the North Shore of Montreal.

The collision took place around 2:45 p.m. on Rang Sainte-Philomène, said Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesman Nicolas Scholtus. “The collision occurred after the motorcyclist made an illegal overtaking,” he said.
The driver and the passenger of the motorcycle were transported to the Sacred Heart Hospital. The driver who hit them was not injured.
The road has been closed so that investigators can further elucidate the circumstances of the event, added agent Scholtus.
