Oilers vs. Canucks series | Leon Draisaitl, an uncertain case for Game 2

(Vancouver) Edmonton Oilers star forward Leon Draisaitl is questionable for Game 2 against the Vancouver Canucks later Friday.

The 28-year-old German says he feels better, but will only make a decision on whether to participate in the second match of this second-round series after the warm-up period.

Draisaitl was injured in Game 1 on Wednesday, but still completed the game, lost 5-4 to the Oilers. He did not take part in his team’s training on Thursday, nor in the morning training on Friday.

He collected his assists in the first game while playing only 16:43, below his average of 20:41 this season.

Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch also indicated that Adam Henrique was a questionable case for Friday night. Henrique, who missed the first match with an ankle injury, will also take part in the warm-up.
