Connor McDavid and Evan Bouchard also scored for the Oilers.

Michael Stone, Brett Ritchie and Tyler Toffoli flashed the red light for the Flames. Johnny Gaudreau had two assists.

Mike Smith, who had another difficult start — allowing two goals in the first seven minutes — finished the night with 37 saves. He had been withdrawn from the first duel after seven minutes of play during which he had allowed three goals.

The Oilers goalie also stood out by setting up Draisaitl’s insurance net.

Jacob Markstrom, who allowed six goals in Game 1, stopped 35 of 40 shots in the loss.

The series heads to Edmonton for Game 3 and Game 4. Game 3 is Sunday night.
