After four games without a win, OGC Nice absolutely had to stop its negative spiral against Lorient this Sunday at the Allianz Riviera. Thanks to a double from Andy Delort in the second half, the Gym regained their taste for success and remained in the Top 5 of Ligue 1 before traveling to Monaco on Wednesday. Phew!
Once again nothing was easy for the Gym. Without a clue in the face of this Lorient block, Nice found the fault on a penalty thanks to an acceleration from Thuram illicitly stopped by Jenz after the break. Delort transforms the penalty and we say that the hardest part is done. But Laurienté the aptly named equalizes in stride and everything has to be redone. What to be worried about, except that “golden helmet” Andy Delort has not said his last word and slams a head stung on a perfect cross from Dolberg (88th). Thanks Andy!
