Head to the final at the Stade de France! Favorite this Tuesday evening of the semi-final of the French football cup against Versailles (N2), OGC Nice held its rank by winning 2-0. But it was not a mere formality for the people of Nice who struggled to destabilize the opposing bloc. At halftime, the score is 0-0.
The Aiglons, not very inspired in attack, have long come up against a well-established Versailles team who were able to be biting on certain counterattacks. It took until the very start of the second half to see Amine Gouiri unlock the Nice counter (48th, 1-0) with a top corner shot. Dolberg widened the gap in the 73rd minute (2-0) after excellent work … from the inevitable Gouiri, given a standing ovation by the stadium when he was replaced.
OGC Nice will know their opponent in the final this Wednesday, after the meeting between Nantes and Monaco. See you on May 8 at the Stade de France!
