Offshore wind power – The first gravity foundations installed off Fécamp

Each of these concrete “towers” weighs 5,000 tons: a real challenge to install them at sea. Three gravity foundations were laid this Tuesday off Fécamp, in Seine-Maritime. The rammers were put to sea using the Sleipnir, one of the largest crane ships in the world.
