The car of 66-year-old rocker John McGale hit a tree in Lacolle overnight from Sunday to Monday, confirmed to The Press one of his relatives.

Originally from North Bay, John McGale joined Gerry Boulet’s band in 1978 at the same time as Breen LeBœuf. It will quickly become one of its pillars. We owe him the music for several of the group’s greatest hits, including Two more beers, I have the rock’n’roll bad you and Just an adventure.
He was still to this day at the head of a group bearing the name Offenbach, which had launched in 2018 an album entitled Renaissance.
