On Twitter, photos show passengers suffering from the heat in crowded trains. Many passengers were stranded for more than an hour and a half in five metro trains on line 4, between Porte d’Orléans and Montparnasse stations, in Paris, in Reason to “multiple incidents”, announced the RATP, Wednesday, June 14. The evacuation of the trains, stopped in tunnels since 7:20 p.m., was completed around 9:30 p.m., according to the RATP, which “presents all its apologies and its most sincere regrets for this event and its consequences on the travellers”.
