“Obviously a red line is crossed”, reacted Tuesday, May 16 on franceinfo Laure Lavalette, spokesperson for the National Rally (RN) group in the Assembly and deputy for Var. Jean-Baptiste Trogneux, Brigitte Macron’s great-nephew, was assaulted in Amiens on Monday evening after Emmanuel Macron’s interview on TF1, learned France Bleu Picardie. The MP posted a message on Twitter to support the victim and his family.

“There is no justification in a democracy for attacking elected officials or their families”continues Laure Lavalette. “We condemn this violence, wherever it comes from (…) for us to live in a peaceful democracy, this kind of behavior must be heavily sanctioned”.

The deputy points the responsibility of La France insoumise and Emmanuel Macron

To explain the “deleterious climate” that she denounces, Laure Lavalette evokes the deputy LFI Thomas Portes “who plays football with a ball bearing the image of the head of the Minister of Labour”, or his colleague Aurélien Saintoul, who dealt “murderer” Olivier Dussopt last February. It denounces more broadly “the rebellious deputies who are going to film the police 10 centimeters from their noses, provoking them in demonstration and hoping that it degenerates (…) Rebellious France is in the permanent show (…) and puts adding fuel to the fire in a very difficult climate for the French”.

The RN spokesperson also targets Emmanuel Macron “who does not understand the French, has despised them for six years”as well as “the ministers who do not report to the national representation”, the whole creating a “Fed up”. According to Laure Lavalette, “it is urgent to lower the pressure”, in particular by withdrawing the pension reform, this law “which should never have seen the light of day”.
