(Toronto) British pop giants Oasis will begin the North American leg of their “reunion” world tour in Toronto, at Rogers Stadium on August 24, 2025.
The group will thus inaugurate this open-air amphitheater, after announcing its construction last week.
Liam and Noel Gallagher also announced gigs in Chicago, East Rutherford, New Jersey, Los Angeles and Mexico City. The American rock group Cage the Elephant will open for these concerts in North America.
The performers of success Wonderwall sold out almost instantly for their UK and Ireland tour. But high demand and dynamic pricing have frustrated many ticket buyers.
Group management said tickets for North American dates will not be subject to Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model, in which prices fluctuate based on demand.
Pre-sale registration is open on the band’s website until 8 a.m. Tuesday morning (EST), while general ticket sales begin at noon Friday.
“America. Oasis is coming. You have one last chance to prove that you loved us all along,” the band said Monday in a social media post announcing the new dates.
The two brothers put aside an old argument to reunite the band, after Noel Gallagher abruptly left Oasis just before the band’s show at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in August 2009.
The Canadian leg will be Oasis’ first visit to Toronto since their appearance at the now-defunct V-Festival in July 2008. Noel Gallagher was then pushed by an admirer who rushed on stage.
