The leaders of the New Popular, Ecological and Social Union (Nupes) and the leaders of the CGT and Force Ouvrière unions will meet on Wednesday February 15 at noon in Paris, franceinfo learned from concordant sources on Tuesday. Together, they will discuss the continuation of the mobilization against the pension reform and the strategy of the Nupes in the National Assembly, where the text is examined.

This meeting comes as the unions are pushing for the debates to move faster in the hemicycle. “We want there to be a vote on Article 7”thus affirmed the secretary general of the CGT, Philippe Martinez, Monday on BFMTV, so that “every deputy can express himself” on raising the retirement age from 62 to 64.
There are approximately 14,000 amendments left to consider. The majority of them were submitted by La France insoumise. For its part, the environmental group in the National Assembly announced this Tuesday noon to be “ready to withdraw all necessary amendments to get to article 7”. The withdrawal of the environmental amendments has already begun. “We have already removed 150, we have 200 left”said Cyrielle Chatelain, leader of the Green MPs.
