(London) Novak Djokovic confirmed on Friday that he will return to the Laver Cup four years after his last appearance in 2018 and complete the European squad of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray.

The squad captained by Bjorn Borg will take on John McEnroe’s Rest of the World team in this fifth edition of the exhibition event, which will be held September 23-25 at the O2 London Arena.
“It’s the only competition where you can play in a team environment with guys you normally face, and joining Rafa, Roger and Andy – three of my biggest rivals of all time – will be a really special moment. unique in the history of our sport”, rejoiced the Serb.
This parenthesis is part of Djokovic’s very uncertain schedule. The former world No.1 is on the entry list for the United States International but his vaccination status currently prevents him from entering American territory.
“I’m going to wait for some good news from the United States because I would really like to go there, play a tournament or two before the United States Open. I am not vaccinated and I do not intend to be vaccinated”, had hoped the 7e world player after his title at Wimbledon.
