On the BBC, eight people stabbed at the Notting Hill carnival. A district of London (United Kingdom), Notting Hill, celebrated the Caribbean and the fight against racism. But bladed weapons were invited into the processions, causing eight victims, two of whom are in serious condition. Fifty police officers were injured and more than 300 people were arrested.
Switzerland shocked by attack on Orthodox Jew in Davos. He was attacked on Friday, August 23 by two men. “They hit me without warning”he testified. “I pushed them and left. They came again, shouted ‘Free Palestine’ and spat on me”The attack has worried the Jewish community. The city of Davos had nevertheless organized awareness campaigns.
