“It’s impressive to know that this cathedral now has a cross at its top that everyone will be able to see,” rejoices Olivier Ribadeau Dumas, archpriest of Notre-Dame de Paris.
The apse cross, which survived the fire and was restored, has just been reinstalled at the top of the frame.
