After Michel Barnier’s first speeches as a tenant of Matignon, Jordan Bardella, the president of the National Rally (RN), considered that the Prime Minister was “under surveillance” and that the RN had chosen to grant him the “benefit of the doubt”. The fact of not having chosen “A priori censorship” does not mean that there will be no “censorship in the coming months”he warned. “Nothing can be done without us”he added in front of the press, during a trip to the Châlons-en-Champagne fair (Marne). And to insist: “Political life in its functioning can no longer do without a political movement which counts 143 members of the National Assembly.”
“Mr Barnier is today at the head of a future fragile government in which he will have to integrate into the concerns, into the actions which will be his, the subjects which are those of the National Rally”added Jordan Bardella.
“I hope that the Prime Minister and the future government can not only get to work, but that they can be attentive to the demands that are now ours.”he also said.
