“Not nice with children”, “She has a very cold side”, Chimène Badi tackled by another French singer

Every day in his show “Chez Jordan” broadcast on C8, Jordan de Luxe receives distinguished guests to ask them the most burning questions in interviews. This Friday, February 2, 2024, the journalist received Myriam Abel and the former candidate for the show Nouvelle Star once again looked back on her entire career but also spoke about her private life.
Determined to obtain some juicy anecdotes, Jordan de Luxe did not fail to remind the singer, who has just lost 25 kilos, of what she said a few years ago on Shy’m: “You said that she has to be a presenter because she no longer sells records…”. And Myriam Abel confirms that she remembers saying this: “The thing is that I’m a girl from the South, I’m hot-blooded and the same questions come up all the time. People tell me all the time that I haven’t succeeded like Shy’m or Amel Bent… Stop telling me that I haven’t succeeded! I’ve been doing my job as a singer since I was 18, I earn my living, I travel the whole world! The problem is that if people don’t see us to sing on TV, we deduce that we didn’t succeed… At the time Shy’m had stopped her tour and had become the host of Dancing with the Stars, so I blamed that on her…”.

Myriam Abel lets loose about Chimène Badi
And Jordan de Luxe talks about his experience with another singer: “Chimène Badi you were also a little harsh with her, I think it went badly on set…”. To which Myriam Abel responded: “The problem is that I’m not afraid to speak. I remember doing a set with her at the Arènes de Nîmes, it was super hot, there were kids who wanted autographs and she came by and she shouted: ‘Ah, I don’t have time…’. And that had an impact on me. So when I was asked what I think of her, I said that she doesn’t hadn’t been nice. She has a very cold side.”.
The 42-year-old singer concluded by saying she had very bad memories of her time in the world of show business with artists “who don’t talk to each other”: “It’s everyone’s own dressing room and no one speaks to each other. The artists lose their temper if they don’t show up on time and it’s everyone for themselves, I don’t have good memories of what’s behind the scenes and backstage”.
