Between 2013 and 2022, he was Patrick Nebout in the successful France television series, “More beautiful life“. Actor Jérôme Bertin, who returns to TF1, this Monday January 8, 2024 (just after the Journal de 13 Heures) in the new adaptation of the series, spoke to Gala about the great difficulty he had to face face, him like the rest of the team. This year, while the intrigue continues on another channel, with in particular Thomas Marci, Barbara Evenot and Mirta Torres, inevitably, there will be major absentees…
“This year has been terrible”
We of course think of Marwan Berreni, who experienced a terrible tragedy last summer. After disappearing from radar for months, his hanged body was discovered in an abandoned house in Corcelles-en-Beaujolais, in October 2023. We also think of Michel Cordes, who for his part was found dead on May 5, 2023 in Grabels… Concerning these two former colleagues and friends, Jérôme Bertin admits: “This year has been terrible”. And added: “Michel was the dad of all of us in the series”.
About the youngest actor, Jérôme Bertin also revealed: “And Marwan was everyone’s little or big brother. The mere mention of their names still shakes me as when I learned it.” And to admit that his mourning is impossible today, since they “are always there, in us”.
“Michel and Marwan, we love you!”
Fortunately, the small screen star also has a message of hope, as the series returns for a spin after being taken off the grid. He assures our colleagues: “We will keep them alive for a long time to come. Life is more beautiful, we are not afraid of ghosts and we love ours“. And to conclude: “Michel and Marwan, we love you!”
