Homemade bombs were discovered on the Northvolt site, says the company, which “vigorously” condemns this act which has not been claimed.
The explosive devices were allegedly placed under machinery over the weekend, Northvolt North America President and CEO Paolo Cerruti said in a statement.
“The triggering devices did not work,” he said, denouncing an act of vandalism “seriously endangering Northvolt employees and partners.”
