Northvolt and public opinion | The duty

I have been following Quebec’s economic activity since my retirement and, currently, it is the opinions of readers that interest me. This sector being very complex, you must be able to read the various articles by journalists from the Duty to form an opinion. However, this newspaper, “the only paper one to think about our future”, to which I subscribe, gives us ideas and opinions from readers.

On this day, the opinion of Pierre Pontbriand, a biologist author, particularly “stuck” me. I appreciated the fact that he talks about the past, present and future, emphasizing the importance of politics. As elected people, those who make decisions, do so for 10 to 20 years or more, this author’s proposals need to be thought about and discussed so that the “general public” is aware. That he can make the good and less good experiences he has had heard.

My conclusion is a little different from that of the author. I wouldn’t call it stubbornness, “times and active politicians” have changed. People and their work tools are different. The active politics of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s are behind us. On the other hand, young people are preparing for the years to come. We must encourage them and accept different ways of doing things, and also their mistakes. It is our mistakes that have allowed us to move forward in our lives…
