(Montreal) An 81-year-old woman lost her life after her boat capsized on Lake Rossister, in Baie-Trinité, on the North Shore, on Monday.

The emergency services were called around 12:30 p.m. to help two octogenarians whose boat, for an unknown reason, capsized.
Wildlife protection officers came to their aid and resuscitation maneuvers were performed on the lady, said Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Hélène St-Pierre.
Both people were transported to a hospital. The woman was pronounced dead later that afternoon. The other octogenarian, a man, is still under evaluation.
According to the first information available to the SQ, the victim was not wearing a personal flotation device.
