North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles on Monday, the South Korean military said, less than 48 hours after joint military exercises between Washington and Seoul.

“Our military detected two short-range ballistic missiles fired from Sukchon areas in South Pyongan Province between 7 a.m. and 7:11 a.m. this morning,” the Joint Chiefs of Staff in Seoul said.
