A three-year-old was injured after gaining access to a gun on Saturday in the town of Henderson, North Carolina, United States.
On Christmas Day, the child accidentally shot himself, US television network CNN reported. A call was made to 911 at approximately 2:30 p.m. regarding this incident.
The victim was transported by plane to a hospital center. An investigation is underway.
