The movie trailer Norbourg, a dark-looking thriller inspired by the financial scandal that rocked Quebec in the mid-2000s, was unveiled on Tuesday.
Starring François Arnaud in the role of the crook Vincent Lacroix, the film tells the story of the one who will become his right-hand man, the inspector and auditor Éric Asselin (Vincent-Guillaume Otis), mandated to monitor the activities of the Norbourg firm but which will end up going to the dark side.
Vincent Lacroix has been accused of defrauding thousands of investors and embezzling over $ 130 million.
The film which will be released on February 18 is written by Maxime Giroux (The torrent, No trace) and directed by Maxime Giroux (Félix and Meira, The Great Darkness). It will also star Christine Beaulieu, Alexandre Goyette, Guy Thauvette, Alex Godbout, Jonathan Gagnon and Paul Doucet.
