Since childhood, she knew that singing would follow her all her life. Indeed, Nolwenn Leroy was destined to become a singer and her career is there to prove it. Big winner of the second season of the “Star Academy” in 2002, the fruit of his labor enabled him to offer eight studio albums and two live albums to his fans. In addition to music, Arnaud Clément’s companion has recently embarked on a new passion: comedy.
She is currently filming for the series “Brocéliande” in which she will give the reply to Medi Sadoun and which will be broadcast next year on TF1. Even if she takes a lot of pleasure in touring, the song remains her first passion. And for good reason, the 40-year-old singer has been bathed in it since a very young age and has allowed her to overcome quite complicated ordeals, as she confided to our colleagues from TV 7 days.

Nolwenn Leroy, the break that allowed him to “be born”
“I’ve been singing since I was little. I was doing shows in my room with a fake ticket office, fake tickets. I took mom’s clothes and those of my girlfriends, when they came”, she recalled during the interview. If Nolwenn Leroy is from Finistère, and is very proud of it, she nevertheless lived for many years in Auvergne. Especially after the separation of her parents when she was 11 years old. A separation that marked her deeply: “I was no longer with my record player, in my room, the music was very loud and I was singing very loudly too, probably so as not to hear what was going on”.
Indeed, the one who does not want to play “the cop” in “Brocéliande”, remembers a “pretty brutal family breakdown”. It is thanks to the music that she was able to overcome this difficult period: “I immersed myself in music and it never left me. I don’t know if I already wanted to make it my job, but I knew that was the only thing that made me feel good. When I I was singing, it soothed my fears, my anxieties. It was a form of therapy”. A “therapy” which allowed him to make it his passion and which still captivates as many fans over the years.
