Noir Vézère, the detective book fair in Le Bugue

Dark stories, sometimes bloody murders, investigations to find suspects, lovers of thrills are served with Noir Vézère. This is the 9th edition of this book fair dedicated to the detective novel and organized by the association Read and write in Bugue.

“It’s a story of reading enthusiasts in general. We have brought together a lot of Périgord writers who work on detective novels. Little by little, the show has grown and now welcomes authors from all over France”, says Pierre Pétrus the president of the association.

A renowned godmother and godfather

Thirty-two authors will be present over the two days to sign their books and meet the public. Among them, Véronique de Hass who received the prestigious Prix du quai des orfèvres for her latest novel La muse rouge. The other big name in thriller is Benoît Séverac, who collects successes in bookstores.

A concert

“A murder has been committed on this seemingly endless desert road.” It is on this framework that the Bordeaux group Kolman Skupp offers Friday Play a free concert with a film that accompanies the music.
