You had until January 31, midnight, to wish a happy new year to the people you appreciate. After this date, you can still share your wishes, but it doesn’t really have the same impact. This is why Stéphane Bern hastened to write his letter to Charles III, who became King of England after the death of his mother Elizabeth II, on September 8, 2022, to be in the nails and wish him good things for the year 2023. But that was without counting on the disruptive spirit of his darling Yori. A teasing darling who did not fail to sow discord in the writing of the wishes of his half as evidenced by the publication of the host this Sunday, January 29 on Instagram.
A publication in which the couple appears in front of a table to write the famous missive intended for the British royal family. Indeed, it is a tradition for the animator of Secrets of History. At the beginning of each year, he sends his wishes to the royal and princely families. At least, the ones he had the chance to meet. On the other hand, if he was indeed able to meet the Queen of England during his lifetime, he has not yet been able to speak with Charles since he is on the throne. And his companion did not fail to point it out.
Charles III would not know Stéphane Bern
“But you don’t know him, he doesn’t even know who you are, he doesn’t remember you.” Throws Yori at him who, despite his attempt, does not disturb Stéphane Bern. The latter even asks him to write a short note for Charles III. “Kiss Love Slurp Slurp? I’m not sending it, I’m going to make a fool of myself in the English Court”, reads the host aloud after discovering the “bad joke” of his companion. He then defends himself: “But nobody knows who you are! You’re like, you pretend you know them but you don’t know them!”. Amused by the situation, Stéphane Bern then tries to defend himself as best he can by highlighting his photos with the Queen and Charles, who at the time was a simple prince. “They don’t have any pictures of you”Yori finally swings at him.
A hilarious moment proving that everything is rolling in the relationship of the lovebirds. The lovers have also confided in their love at length in an interview granted to Paris Match in August 2022. An interview in which Stéphane Bern recalled how much Yori mattered and is important on a daily basis. Indeed, without his presence, he would never have been able to overcome the mourning of his father, who died in February 2022, as well as that of his brother, who left only six months later, as he confided to our colleagues.
