No train in circulation from Bordeaux, Angoulême, La Rochelle or Poitiers on Friday morning. Traffic will be very disrupted from 8:30 p.m. Thursday, all day Friday and Saturday morning in New Aquitaine due to a strike by signalmen, SNCF announced in a press release on Friday.
No TER from Bordeaux and Poitou-Charentes on Friday
The main disturbances concern the TER. From 8:30 p.m. Thursday, no TER will run from or to Bordeaux, until Saturday morning. Friday, the circulation of TER is completely interrupted in Charente, Charente-Maritime, Deux-Sèvres and Vienne. Finally, only 1 out of 4 TER will circulate Friday in Haute-Vienne, Corrèze, Creuse, Dordogne, Lot-et-Garonne, Landes and Pyrénées-Atlantiques.
The transport plan will not ensure connections with long-distance trains.
No TGV Friday morning throughout New Aquitaine
TGV traffic is very badly affected, with traffic completely interrupted this Friday morning throughout the region. Connections should be provided in the afternoon and evening, reassures the SNCF in its press release. Except for the La Rochelle branch, where traffic will not resume until Saturday. Angoulême and Libourne stations will not be served of the day.
Intercity interrupted between Nantes and Bordeaux, disrupted between Toulouse and Hendaye
Intercity trains will not run for the day on Friday on the Nantes – Bordeaux axisx. Two thirds of the Hendaye-Toulouse routes were maintained.
