The return from the truce is not easy for Johann Zarco and Fabio Quartararo. Our MotoGP champions from the Côte d’Azur did not shine at the British Grand Prix this Sunday, August 7th. Cannes native Johann Zarco had to retire after a fall while leading the race and Nice’s Fabio Quartararo finished eighth. It is the Italian Francesco Bagnaia who arrives first. It is his second consecutive victory.
In the general classification Fabio Quartararo nevertheless retains his first place in the championship with 180 points, ahead of the Spaniard Aleix Espargaro and the Italian Franscesco Bagnaia. Johann Zarco is fifth. Next step on August 21 in Austria.
