Another disappointment for the SCA. The Albigensian rugby players failed to validate their ticket for the rise in PRO D2 this Sunday, after their defeat 40 to 10 against Massy, in the semi-final second leg of the National championship.
The meeting was announced to be difficult for the SCA, and that was confirmed. It must be said that the Ile-de-France club, undisputed leader of the season, was the favorite. But all hopes were high for Albi after their 21-9 win in the first leg last week and their 12-point lead. The Albigensians were finally dominated from start to finish during this match, this Sunday.
From disillusion to disillusion
A new failure therefore for the SCA. A return to PRO D2 in which they have believed on many occasions. Since their demotion to the National in 2017, the SCA have played four semi-finals.
