“No one is above” the club, recalls President Nasser al-Khelaïfi, during a visit to the new PSG training center

The club have given Kylian Mbappe until July 31 to extend his contract.

Paris Saint-Germain have resumed training, with their new coach Luis Enrique, in their brand new brand new preparation center in Poissy in the Yvelines, where the president of the club went on Tuesday July 18, reports France Bleu Paris . Nasser al-Khelaïfi insisted that “no one was above” of the club. He went to meet the staff and the players, a visit which lasted a little less than a quarter of an hour. Witnesses report to France Bleu Paris that he cited in introductory remarks the case of Lionel Messi, suspended for a week last spring for skipping training.

Nasser al-Khelaïfi also praised the attacking football wanted by the new coach Luis Enrique before meeting the six new recruits one-on-one: Skriniar, Asensio, Ndour, Hernandez, Ugarte and Lee. A speech concluded with a family photo with a message of support for goalkeeper Sergio Rico, still convalescing after his heavy fall on horseback.

On the other hand, he did not meet Kylian Mbappé individually. The club’s position against him remains unchanged: he has until July 31 to extend his contract, otherwise PSG will put him on the transfer market. Number 7 for his part wishes to go until the end of his lease which expires on June 30, 2024.
