No one left in the Landes forests. A prefectural decree taken this Monday, July 18 strictly prohibits activities in the forest, the circulation and parking of vehicles with or without engine on forest tracks, rural roads, farm tracks, cycle paths and other paths open to the public.
Most of the Landes concerned
Are concerned all the Landes forest massifs located north of the Adour. Logging, silvicultural work, civil engineering, services, carbonization and sawing activities are also prohibited. A decision taken by the prefecture because of the very high temperatures and risk of forest fires at the moment in the Landes.
This order will end when the forest fire vigilance is lifted.for
