On the platforms of the Parisian metro at rush hour, it is the freedom regained to sulk or smile, without hiding and without real apprehension. The danger is still present for those who prefer to keep the mask. “We’re really all on top of each other, and it seems obvious to me that it’s a little dangerous. We all have elderly parents, fragile parents. I think it’s a small gesture that we should all keep “, says a passenger. Although it is no longer compulsory, wearing a mask is still recommended, especially for the most fragile passengers.
