Songs and smiles while waiting for the start of the ramadan. In Rafah (band Gaza), a little light after five months of war, but not much hope in a huge tent camp where tens of thousands of displaced people live. “It’s not the same ramadan than last year. There was a festive spirit, we had electricity, water, food. And now we have nothing left.”, declared one of them.
Aid sent by sea
All day from Sunday March 10, bombings continued in Gaza, resulting in the deaths of several dozen people. According to Hamas, the conflict has already left more than 31,000 dead, mostly civilians. The truce demanded by the United States is still not in place. To cope with famine, airdrops of food are increasing. Then, aid should arrive by sea.
