Traffic looks normal this weekend at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport. All flights are maintained for the departure on vacation, announcement of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. At issue: the lifting of the notice of strikes by firefighters at Paris airports. The latter say they are, for the moment, satisfied with the negotiations between their CGT union and the ADP Group. An agreement has been reached.
The CGT considers that the resolution of the social conflict is “on the right track”. Daniel Bertone, union representative at ADP told AFP that a “rather interesting proposal” had been formulated by management. It must be submitted to a general staff meeting on Friday morning.
But the movement continues
For their part, the CGT unions of Air France and Aéroports de Paris have maintained their strike notice for Orly. Roissy-Charles de Gaulle is also concerned with a mobilization planned by the CGT ADP. Disruptions are therefore to be expected. Especially since there is still a significant shortage of personnel. “The workforce has dropped throughout the Covid and it is very complicated to work calmly”warns Laurent Dahyot, Secretary General CGT Air France.
Social mobilization should resume on July 13 with a common front: a unitary call to strike is launched with a demonstration. The demands remain unchanged: a salary increase and more staff. All sectors are concerned: Air France, Groupe ADP, but also catering and security. “It’s not going to get better overnight, the employees are fed up”warns Laurent Dayot.
