Nintendo presented the titles coming to its Switch console on Tuesday, June 18, during a live broadcast online. The video game giant has announced a new Zelda. New opus of the saga created in 1986 by Shigeru Miyamoto, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is expected on September 26.
With the exception of a game derived from the saga released more than 30 years ago and since disowned by Nintendo (Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon), this is the first time that a player will be able to play as Princess Zelda as the main character.
In this unique adventure, featuring the colorful and childish graphics of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakeningreleased in 2019, the roles are reversed, and the princess, usually in distress, must come to the aid of the knight Link.
Announced more than 7 years ago and become one of the Arlesians in video games, Metroid Prime 4 gave its news with first images of the game. Launched in 1986 like the first Zelda, the science fiction saga Metroid, freely inspired by the films Alien, is one of the favorite licenses of Nintendo fans.
