When his career was at the end of its rope, Nino Ferrer decided to settle in the Lot with Kinou Ferrari in 1977. The couple married in Saint-Cyprien and became the parents of a boy, the second after Pierre, named Arthur. Far from the Parisian fervor that Nino Ferrer rubbed shoulders with for the purposes of music, the lovebirds savor their newfound tranquility. The performer of the song The Telephone even revives one of the activities he had left aside, painting.

Kinou Ferrari, whose real name is Jacqueline Monestier, had brought out the old paintings and sketches of her late husband for the twenty-year anniversary of his disappearance. Her precious objects, she and her sons had made available to a room to organize an exceptional exhibition on the sidelines of the event. In addition to the paintings, visitors could discover costumes, musical instruments and posters representing Nino Ferrer. Throughout their life, the artist and his wife had maintained an incomparable closeness with the neighbors and the inhabitants of the village whose hearts they filled thanks to their kindness and their simplicity. The disappearance of Kinou Ferrari must therefore leave a great void.
