The American brand Nike will remain the equipment supplier for the French football teams until 2034, the Sports department of Radio France learned on Tuesday April 30 from consistent sources, confirming information from the Team. The executive committee of the French Football Federation (FFF), meeting Tuesday evening, validated the renewal of the contract until 2034.
The American equipment manufacturer had already been under contract with the FFF since 2014 and this contract ran until 2026. This was a call for tenders covering the period 2026-2034. Nike recently took the place of Adidas as equipment supplier for the German selection for a check of around 100 million euros per season.
Details still remain to be resolved and the amount of the contract with the FFF is not known, but according to several sources, this contract will exceed that signed with the German federation. This partnership “will ensure budgetary stability for the next ten years”adds a source close to the file.
For its part, Adidas had recently indicated that it would make an offer to “an appropriate price” to try to become France’s equipment supplier again.
