In Belgium, the reopening as in France
The reopening of nightclubs is authorized from this Friday, February 18, 2022.
In Belgium, the boxes have been closed since November 27, 2021, two weeks before France made the same decision.
You will need a health pass to enter Belgian establishments, this is called the “Covid Safe Ticket” in Belgium (CST).
You must be fully vaccinated or have a negative test within 48 hours or have had Covid in the last 6 months and be cured.
You will have to wear the mask even while dancing.
Belgian discotheques will not be able to accommodate more than 70% of the total capacity of the box… unless the ventilation system is efficient.
Be careful in Belgium, the border is sometimes fine between discotheque and libertine club!
If you type discos in Belgium in Google: we will offer you the K-ress in Messancy but it’s not really a nightclub where you stay dressed!
Ditto for Le Frisson in Chiny… it’s not a classic nightclub.
Do not get fooled.
In Luxembourg, there has never been a closure
In Luxembourg, the clubs have never closed, they just had to lower the curtain at 3 a.m. and not 6 a.m.
To go dancing at the Lux, you had to be fully vaccinated or have been cured of Covid, the negative test was no longer accepted.
The Grand Duchy and its many nightclubs have become an Eldorado for Belgians and French.
Since the weekend of February 12 and 13, 2022, the boxes in Luxembourg have always closed at 3 a.m. but now you can enter with a negative test (less than 48 hours for a PCR, less than 24 hours for an antigen)… if you come home!
Because it has become very complicated for the French and Belgians to enter Luxembourg clubs: in Luxembourg-city, Gotham, M club, Lenox, Room, the bouncers are very difficult to coax if you are not Luxembourgish, just look at the many comments on the internet in recent weeks.
In Saarland
In Saarbrücken, the boxes are gradually reopening and still require a complete vaccination schedule + a negative test the same day + the mask all evening.
